In November 2013 the Brigade were tasked with raising enough money to purchase 50 nets to save children in Africa from
being bitten by mosquitos.
They have raised money by running a treasure hunt, making loom band bracelets for their families and the congregation, selling fridge magnet crosses and holding a raffle for a huge basket of sweets as first prize, a large cuddly toy as second prize and a much coveted Baby Oleg toy as third prize.
With the help of the congregation, they have actually raised £600
